MONDAY 6th OCTOBER – STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Practice Day – UB Horizontal Press

Intention: Composure in the heavy Bench press, learning to hold tension throughout the lift. 

Prep:
Pec release, trap release, lat activation.

5 sets

A1) BB Bench Press  x 5   rest 2-3 min
1 sec pause at chest on each rep, all sets at the same heavy weight (85% of 1RM)

beginners 3-4 sets of 8-12 reps – practice the technique

B) 3 rounds – not for time
1/2 kneeling KB shoulder to OH x 8ea

KB goblet hold alt 90 / 90 hip switch with hip extension x 16

KB hip around the worlds x 8ea way

C) Sally up Sally down squat finisher (wall sit for beginners)
