Private Training
Your trainer has been selected and allocated to you based on skill and price point. However, we ensure that all trainers have a minimum level of skill, qualification and experience before employing them. You can be assured that your trainer will be competent, courteous and committed to your success. If you feel that our trainer has fallen below the standard of excellence we expect, then we request that you inform us immediately – please discuss it with our support team (support@strongwomencan.com)
Sometimes, despite our best efforts and the goodwill of the member and trainer, the allocated match does not work. This happens and changing trainers isn’t a problem for our trainers in any way. So if you wish to change trainer, please ask us or email support@strongwomencan.com
When you train with us, you are receiving a service from us rather than any individual trainer and we want to get it right. Please note that session prices vary between trainers. If you change trainers, the price rates will be applied according to your new trainer’s level and charges and will be in effect from your first session with the new trainer.
When re-scheduling or cancelling a private training session, you must notify your trainer directly via text or email with at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled session. If you provide 24 hours’ notice, there is no charge to cancel or reschedule the session.
If you need to cancel within 24 hours of the session time for whatever reason (except for in the case of a major medical emergency or an Act of God, which will be at our discretion as to whether a fee will be charged), the session will still be charged to your credit card and will not be refundable. No make-up session will be permitted for sessions cancelled within 24 hours’ of the booked session. There are no exceptions to this policy as no shows waste time and are costly to us, so please ensure you adhere to this.
We promise to give you the same courtesy and will give you 24 hours’ notice if we need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
If we give you less than 24 hours’ notice, the session will be made up free of charge and we will also buy you an extra session at a time convenient for you, along with an apology. We respect your time is valuable.
Re-scheduled or ‘banked’ sessions must be booked within 1 month of the missed session or you will lose that particular session. We cannot roll on sessions beyond 1 month from the end of your contract.
You can choose to train between one and five days per week.
You can, if you wish to, change the number of sessions you train each week. This will obviously affect the amount you are charged and how often we keep a session free for you to attend. If you wish to make any changes to the number of your sessions per week, then we are happy to do that, but we require at least 2 weeks’ notice before we can affect the change. Please discuss any changes with our support team (support@strongwomencan.com)
You may suspend your private training for a minimum of 1 calendar week and maximum of 6 calendar weeks without fee.
For suspensions longer than 6 weeks, a suspension fee of $9 per week applies and you will receive continued access to online programs and support.
All suspensions must be requested in writing to support@strongwomencan.com. Please give us as much notice as possible and allow 2 weeks for the suspension to be processed.
In the event of illness, injury or other unexpected interruptions to your training, please contact us and we will work with you to find the best solution. We cannot guarantee that a suspension can be affected in less than 2 weeks but will do our best to accommodate your situation.
We want to ensure we are a perfect fit for our members, so we give 14 days (from the start of your contract) for you to cancel your contract, without incurring any fees. Just pay for the sessions you’ve had and we won’t charge you any other fees.
After 14 days from the commencement of your contract with us, we require a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice if you wish to terminate your training.
Please notify us of your wish to cancel in writing by emailing support@strongwomencan.com.
If any changes are made to your membership with us (as agreed to by us) or you renew your agreement for another period, this agreement will continue to apply to your amended or renewed membership.
Group training
Group training classes are booked through the Mindbody app. Booking becomes available after your weekly payment has been processed (each Sunday) for the week ahead.
Sessions are booked via the Mindbody app on a first-come first-served basis so we encourage you to book early to secure your preferred class times. If you are struggling to find class availability that suits you, please talk to our support team by emailing support@strongwomencan.com.
Each class booking you make will be debited from your weekly allocation. You can view how many classes you have remaining each week in the Profile area on the app.
If a class is full, you may have the option to ‘waitlist’ for an available space and we will contact you as soon as possible if a space opens up, but it is not guaranteed.
The group class timetable does change from time to time and we will communicate changes to the timetable with as much notice as possible via our Facebook group and/or email channels.
You can cancel or change any of your class bookings via the Mindbody app up to 3 hours prior to the class start time. There is no penalty for changing your class bookings more than 3 hours beforehand, but please remove unwanted bookings with as much notice as possible to allow others to take your space.
If you need to cancel or book on to a class within 3 hours prior to the class start time, this cannot be done via the app and we ask that you inform us at support@strongwomencan.com or text us at 0487 067144.
If you cancel within 3 hours and contact us, we will, wherever possible, return the missed class to your allocation so you can re-book another class.
If you fail to attend a class that you’ve booked on to and do not contact us, the missed class will not be returned to your allocation and cannot be refunded, rescheduled or rolled over.
All class passes are valid for up to 30 days and it is up to you to use your allocation of classes. Any class passes that have not been used within 30 days will expire and cannot be refunded, rescheduled or rolled over into a future week.
Group classes are purchased in advance for the week ahead and although some payment periods may have less classes (due to public holidays, missed classes or sickness), the weekly fee will still be deducted and is non-refundable.
You can choose a package of 2 classes, 3 classes or unlimited weekly classes. We charge you based on the number of sessions per week you choose.
