MENTAL TOUGHNESS – HINGE
Intention: using variation in our hinge to target slightly different muscles and promote a more upright torso, it is also less range of motion which can allow us to lift heavier.
Prep: Rower erg, child pose to cobra, adductor rockbacks, 90/90 hip rotations, horse stance, hip thrust, band latera walk, deadbugs.

A1) BB Sumo Deadlift x 7
A2) 10 band side steps (left /right), 10 band monster walks (forward and back), 10 cowboy walks (forward and back), 10 band SL step outs ea.
B) Mental toughness – 4 x AMRAP 3 – 2 min rest – 18 min
4 athletes in the first amrap and 4 in the 2nd amrap, then switch. Repeat
**have athletes start at different stations in the amrap, if cardio machine is taken then use Ski Ergs. Keep the equipment close together in the amrap so you don’t lose time between exercises.
